Listen Alex and it's not to throw light on his fire -- -- -- tweets the first half that playoff game one here. Yes he was racked up 387. Yards or there and really if you wanna tackle that fire triggered up this is a tunnel in line now that's legitimately. He's had quite a career here and he had a record breaking year a year ago. So he has over a long period of time. Now he's started for three years as his sport here starting so. I think over a period of time he's been very productive and I think he's gotten better each year. He has gotten better each year there's no doubt about that you'd like to see that progression from Sean -- this year. Into not turning the ball over that is really the last piece that he has to do is. Not turn the ball under under pressure. And that that he will be a much more complete quarterback if he's able -- you will see what is offensive line -- going to be if I think sale Malo is going to be -- two games. They can be okay and they'll have that time. But -- car Hamlet you got -- Smith I don't know who's really gonna step at a wide receiver traditionally on downing Sammy starter James Rogers. Markus -- in branding cooks statistically when you average those guys out. Each wide receiver when they come back from their very first year of getting real production they averaged 44 more catches per year averaging those four guys out. If you do that with Richard -- he somewhere around 96 catches that summer we huge project him. Is he capable of that I don't know you know 52 last year a lot of fuel expectations on Victor Bolden. But that somebody that I still have a question mark about because he didn't play out as many catches as some people seem to think that he did. -- many category -- -- better but you got so many other question marks are around him that even if he does struggle at times I can't point the finger at him because of the lack of talents -- because. Should know it is adding up for the run game he doesn't have a lot of help from the offensive line now you talk about him losing branding Cooke city -- is is backs against the wall going into this season but it's a good point to be and if you're just simply talking about shot -- cannot -- -- you look at his draft prospects for next year. This is the beautiful part of why people are looking him at him as a first round pick because if he can finally put the same numbers this year that he did last year. Without a branding coach we talked -- we talk to rob -- on Friday and he said his big you know kind of scare -- point -- wish on being in. Is that he throws up his back foot a lot of times last year he just kind of wood lob ball and a double or triple coverage to Brandon Cox -- Brandon cooks to bail them out. He doesn't have that luxury this year you got to get creative as an offensive coaching staff and play calling wise. To find ways to get hit the bottom it's an early especially against better defenses. He got to find a way to help now with the either a short passing game or running game. But the guy is good enough to carry offense -- they do believe that that he is good enough to lead this offense may be up at the same type the numbers he did last year but he's good enough to to lead them to be seven wins he's -- -- the quarterback this is our dialed in. The -- save Italy doing every day Tuesday at 2 o'clock as we need you idea in the pac twelve coach is -- -- Mike -- -- -- confidence in the offensive line. Well we've gotten as bad as healthy as we're going to be at this point that so that tidbit thing and so we've had some continuity of guys playing together for a bit -- won't. -- Intel. After our bye week sometime. After that and I don't know how soon but that just three weeks away. But we have had. Guys come back from some stuff during camp so we're bound -- Initially right now as healthy as we can be and we can't likens it to continuity. Plan together for a few days so that feels better. Well and optimistic Mike Riley about the organ stayed offensive line that. As we Disco -- You're number one players out that's I mean you can be optimistic all you want but. -- -- all Americans out idea and matters you still have a lot of extras and that is the one thing that he can -- and they can fall back on I kind of chuckle when you talk about the of the overall health and more about as good as being you know you're not you're missing your best player. But I see where he's coming from in talking about the continuity having all those guys that played last year having some of the injuries that they have with the guys who were guarding guys who had to step up. You still a little more confident as an organ state -- the looking at that running game. That's what it comes down to the success year's season of being an 89 win team may be flirting with the -- north which I doubt. But being in that position. That he could to help -- easy medallion of being in that position though you got -- that was a run game and that's I mean I am an ad for 34 year. And I just say can you like it is sometimes -- segment. I know I'd live with we've -- that we estimated that three of us an inordinate amount of time to -- -- -- help the amount of time together. We know each other. Pretty freaking while. Dirt during his entire city. Has had his lips. Heart just heightened and you can -- pulling out of box scores I've gotten it right you're -- stocks I'm running into his immunity basically is a bright red yeah we'll get to my -- -- and it lets -- easy -- to see the game coming -- is that and it. Over 200 yards -- that let's look at some other facts as well they led seventeen they let excuse me fourteen to ten in the fourth quarter of him up what was fumbled -- -- wasn't just over time they had the lead in the fourth quarter in the NFC championship game. Wide receivers that he had a corporate Michael Crabtree had four drops who was his other wide receiver that he would work with the dude who dropped to -- You look at what he had to work what was Vernon Davis with three catches for a 112 yards averaged 37 yards a completion. Manny was thirty to 58 -- an anti it'll lower QB rating eighty averaged less yards per completion of QB -- a little overrated -- when you're looking at this team -- this is the difference is is where your -- during that what we're talking about the also had Victor Cruz a key nicks and Mario Manningham a throw the ball to. What does that have to do is Alex Smith being mediocre because if you give -- those wide receivers I guarantee you he puts up Alex Smith was not good until Jim Harbaugh got there he was not I would never history and that we're talking about paying a quarterback that's not the conversation about congress and I just I wouldn't pay of twenty million dollars -- fifteen -- -- I would not -- immediately think there are players out -- than the same is taking its regular rest. -- Aaron Murray go -- start chase Daniels and tell me you're seizing those last year -- -- -- -- go and I I I hope Kansas City does at this season. And I can't wait to watch that team just go crumbling. Go ahead. Any -- success and every quarterback -- go to Philly to Diddy as Kevin cops career looking right now. He was successful until Nadal might -- a San Diego he got paid on the lookout for him. AJ Feeley was pretty and when Agassi was as -- exam had a pretty good career -- like there -- he's angry man. And skiers me a little bit that you -- getting here very often though he does he and Marines only that he lived there for him. You know we've always known Alex Smith is there one moment please don't understand and I really don't. There's nobody wants to give it -- semblance of credit. The guy is just he's just a place maker you insert it the other players there they're gonna win as many finally the idea is that -- I'm not gonna push you but there are -- saying clay Chase Daniel over Alex Smith. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- And you know -- how much older two point seven it kind of security entire -- year holidays there was never started -- game of the and it's frightening that you knew the amount drops Michael Crabtree had -- plan because that's like you're making that number -- but you know the skin I don't know they know that number I'm not because people look at him and look. -- dropped catches -- -- you're -- right Michael Crabtree had one catch for three yards and -- -- -- of his -- -- dropped -- taxes -- for dropped four -- he was targeted five times you won't -- for dropped him hiding who they were dropped because I know I remembered remember there's usually like it was yesterday. Alex Smith could have played better than NFC championship game but I hate just lately -- is the reason that they lost. Their team how to lead in the fourth quarter of the NFC I don't blame Alex Smith -- but -- I -- -- announcement I'm thinking of players you wanna pay what you -- the -- weren't the reason that they lost they had a lead in the fourth -- please -- the -- -- giants -- the -- we -- he's a legislator I simply say if he catches the -- -- winning go to the Super -- I'm not gonna -- at -- and -- -- they couldn't move the -- on overtime -- giants couldn't move the -- the entire game. Tell that -- you don't know the niners are gonna win -- European they would run the clock I like. An argument or I'm not arguing I don't know what I hear I am doing us a bizarre story out of USC we play some audio from saarc and -- really is bizarre. And will tell you about it next you're listening to dead port dirt. And fired after in spring on -- Vincent is college kids golf we've got -- -- dirty and -- Rusty like Ron Tonkin diets on ESP yeah Sports Radio 1080 -- The guys let's update you on a story that you may have heard yesterday. USC in -- our season are kind of try to distance himself as fast they can. From this story about Josh shot he was a corner of a starting power forward USC. And it was the story was told that he jumped out of the second story of an apartment building this was his account Josh Josh account. That he jumped out of the second story of his apartment building sprained bulk of his ankles while rescuing his seven year old nephew at a family party. On Saturday night and I believe his direct quote was I would do it again. For whatever -- it was it did not have to be my nephew. Hero that was his -- so you know Manny national hero to people that police say is that few people rushed instead well in fairness they thought it was a legit port because it's good to have a heartwarming story in sports and that is the masses. Rally around and somebody that we can look at we have faith in and say you know what that's a good American right there to the masses rallied and said -- my guys bigger than sports. How amazing is this. Hold the -- or all the phone is that we is that as a cliche all the phone. All the media about what confident that the pump the brakes back the truck up we've got all those doing just above a backdrop -- -- like. Steve's or cohesion on the -- of coaches call commenting on Josh. Practically all of refrain from just talking about the situation itself wolf say that. Josh has never given us an indication not to believe it stories that it -- very archer to force U2 leader elect -- captain. And I have no reason not to believe him now we get -- -- Questioned the validity of this story which we are -- were doing your due diligence to do your due diligence on -- as we speak. It will notify and the people need to be notified when we come to resolution. Here is this story here is what it's they're saying is that there is no rescue. And that's. Did the report from Iron Lady named Heather Brittany. Said that he was being chased by LA. He DL APD is what's come out and have a statement on this. -- were not reporting anything is fax. We used our reporting that most people believe the story is fabricated and false and that there was some sort of domestic dispute he jumped up a third story window while running. From the LAPD -- insist by the way the only PD still has not released a statement so this is weird because people are finding holes in the story. But in what I think comes out of the holes really -- -- And that he really didn't -- -- -- desperate rescue is abnormally idea of the girl that reported the sources I've never has brought before anybody -- that no I haven't either -- in fact checking on fact -- now we don't DG your sources your could go on my book is uneasy at the hash -- sources in your -- I'll -- -- are buying into that. Team and everybody sells but I think it's clearly though that the LAPD is supposed to come -- make it have a statement on -- it was in the next half -- so that was about ten minutes ago that I saw that -- it -- -- here's some what is the LAPD -- mean because they were called about is -- the noise and -- Powell and a family -- story is literally say they're the police are there yet just -- the -- -- say it -- because the police and iron -- -- we just got to the bottom of that is. A very confusing story however USC. Is there there in fact finding mode right now they're trying to collect all the information on this. I tend to believe that if it was as cut and dry as simple as he's rescuing the nephew that the LAPD would not necessarily have to spend all this time. To come out with a statement now Steve are easier to come out and say there's absolutely no doubt about it he actually that. There's there's way too much peripheral stuff going on in this story. -- to be a simple case of -- jumping in the -- in rescuing is now because of that was the gap it would be a lot more cut and dry we're Steve somewhere -- comes doesn't know absolutely. He rescues nephew -- a story we believe 100%. But when you get phone calls saying -- I was in the apartment. He was being chased by the police there was a dispute he jumped from the third story building and -- -- -- a little -- he's got. The shortest run as a superhero in the history of the universe for a that's bad the guys eighteen hours was even eighteen hours a day I think it was fourteen hours if he does that last guy in the world -- now. Suddenly somebody finds Alou pulled his stories as you and not so fast did you weren't -- in a drowning key aide. You were punching people in the face or something -- -- -- jumping out of -- balcony to escape what we've heard from more sources now on the tax machine in our source sources are now confirming and apparently this incident happened in Palmdale and the LAPD does not have jurisdiction and that's why they're not releasing a statement home sources are sources agree. How we feel about the source the Garcia. We are we navigate to the point where we have legit sources -- really -- perhaps well you wonder it is our position you either because there are people on radio that are hard -- report breaking news guys or there's guys who just don't give a Nath and -- is do a show and react. I do wonder are we getting get to a point and across -- individually were we saying. You know what I wanna be breaking news -- -- you know what I wanna stay not caring about breaking news -- all talk about it when it comes you -- going to be breaking news -- -- not a chance I -- too much pressure on a break and -- into long ones when I was a reporter for -- state stuff and it's it's pretty memorable was it was it two years ago that the reports came -- that might rally was heading for Wisconsin and trapped in the -- favorite track and it's -- -- jets he had jet was landing near Wisconsin Madison. Pocket about it that would that broke we had to show that -- and -- seven and that probably like 658 it might be slow and we elect our I -- rather leave in -- up. Loops that we don't hold anybody accountable and that's my frustrating thing with -- breaking news and investigative journalism. Is when people -- wrong nobody says a thing to the measures sixty minutes. Yeah unless you're sixty minutes like the guy who reported the Mike Riley's -- may know his name. -- it's Jeremy -- CBS sports -- the when he social -- who actually want him on the shelf hey what do you brought that is let's get Jerry -- on the Chicago and east race and all union together reported Mike Bradley has taken a Wisconsin Donna how do we know nobody accountable for me this information -- -- -- SIVs by the way in -- state. And said I extremely apologize for at least in his college days -- father's stories -- -- anybody else on his Twitter account yet sorry for. Misleading all of you I guess in Seattle has gotten an amateur scene yet seen these two -- headlines coming out of the beautiful city is Seattle. Apparently the Seattle Mariners have extended their executive VP and GM of baseball operations this thing gets favored their Jack see you got a multi year extensions is. Mayor fans -- that and then this sea -- and Pete Carroll regalia find 300000. Dollars for violating offseason non contact. Rules person or other cheating when a shocker. Let that comment slide. Think that -- back. Support breaking news that -- -- was frustrated -- the 76ers boom sources screw in a row now they dirt has done a sports center update. Hello we -- Yeah well they follow that Joey for his own version up next. And something is being done in college football to try and slow down the Oregon -- that story coming up here's Joey was sports. Then towards third and sprayed his served up by buffalo wild doing meets on ESPN's Sports Radio 1080 welfare and we're out. Of the food -- We believe -- the fact that we got I lose all the -- city. Massive upgrade because. Every other living thing that might end might be. That's how all light and speed every single life except human like every flight ends like this. It. Dirty and Alex Smiths song together you're darn right it is I'm probably on his -- problem I think you just -- -- on your own mind. I don't know why would you put -- on the fire analysts say is somebody tweet me coming down excited to weed out he had apparently -- -- -- -- Russell's last year it's gonna reject those about it leader Johnson but that. San I had I appreciate returnees and just relax man people who run down -- he's good appreciate that economy down on the -- -- last and there you you get fired up about really one thing and that's giants baseball. They got -- more fired up for Alex Smith and I've ever seen the part of the giants baseball. I am not poking them they're not there -- -- -- -- -- he's written and it's and it's five back right now on the division race. That -- MCI it's the Cy Young winners in the bullpen. Again through no hitter in a month ago now. It needed to do well. It's not a -- this story continues to give more bizarre and a local your guess is as good as -- you can decipher it -- you on with it. The LAPD said Josh shot of USC. They have no record of anything involving him whatsoever but it's a huge figure out the story yet what's going on there's a girl's name. I had a -- Heather radium and remember that name of the story is wrong and I can remember her and Jeremy found the going to be my ass list. We'll have that there were a lot of people that called -- so that's not the story that's where this whole thing and she's the one gaining notoriety and followers from her sources -- that's exactly right now -- -- -- -- -- don't does -- for the pain and do it because it's legit. How about this story officials in college football and the coordinator of officials is name is Roger Redding said today quote. From the officiating standpoint we kind of got caught up in this whole thing and allowed ourselves to get overwhelmed by it he's talking about. Up tempo offenses. He said he goes on to say too much rushing around her ringing. And trying to be speedy about getting the ball in the play it's sort of but the defense at a disadvantage is now the officials are trying to take the pace back. In college football I am curious from our listeners of the Beaverton to -- attacks nine. At 55305. Should officials. Be able to dictate the pace of the game. Or should they go no matter what at the pace of the offense 55305. That. Ultimately it is the defense is suited to adapted to evolve and to find a way to stop and -- since the official should not be able to dictate the pace of the game they should not be able to slow the game down. Though the verbiage that they used in this article was just whole areas they called it -- a jockey not -- is it. They said they want umpires to sort of crisply job they don't sprints in hostile but don't hurry. So that makes us other defining that makes a whole lot of sense I'm reaching equally clear and an up and now we know exactly what pace the officials really glad this season. And what it will we have what you text on this earlier and I don't -- sound like I want people to miss confuse and I'm trying to say here in that. There is the defense needs to adapt to the -- the official should not be able to slow the the game down -- on offense down. But just like with a 102 rule was brought up and read below -- Nick Saban and all these big SEC teams are coming out in -- we need to slow down guys are getting -- We should run so many plays and everybody just everybody got so upset and so up in arms and they're gonna have this 102 run opera before you can snap the football. But would you really sit down and you look at what's going on in college football right now. There is a 42 play clock that play clock starts at the end of the play you don't wait to get set you don't wait to get lined out. As soon as a guy goes down that 42 play clock starts now you can't you answer -- this go watch were just using organ for example here. Go watch TV or in game from last year and tell me how many times they would snapped from the topic I was down. Within ten seconds occasionally it does happen absolutely but not every single play it's not like every single play -- would lined up. And had to wait three or four seconds to snap the football. And that's the same thing I say about this rule change if you wanna wait an extra one or two seconds on every play it's not going to be like that. His Brady brought a great point earlier where the officials are gonna get into the pace of the game they're getting a copy of the atmosphere take arouses it depends if they got bought it. But that's gonna happen to me this is not happy giving him off the official should not be able to slow the pace of play down it's not when I'm saying. But the fans come out and say hey this is ridiculous their their pick on organ they whistle organ down. It is adding an extra second or two every three or four plays. Keeps you from winning more football games that you -- deserve to win those football games in the first which is a huge advantage of their offense and this is an act of economy fundamentally change what they -- He see this all the time in the NBA I mean you really seize any sport when an official gets wrapped up in the environment in the situation and that's what happens during games I've seen it time and time again where. Officials are coaches and opposing team will complain about the -- say it's not -- for my players my guys -- bumper they get hurt them more susceptible injuries. And officials come out they'll make sure we spot the ball correctly will make sure we're good to go before they hike. And and again Dotson and -- goes up fourteen nothing in the crowd's gone bananas you guys have been on that field it is allow in his mind numbing -- down there. When they're rolling and the officials get caught up and that's human nature you get caught up in the atmosphere in the moment it's impossible not to. But I look at this -- and I have a lot of sympathy generally for the defense in football whether it's college or professional you got zones where you can hear it. -- different interpretations of how you're taken someone down these guys defined -- they get suspended frowning at somebody it's really tough to be -- a player. But this is the one area that I look at as a football fan. And I have zero sympathy for the defense you have to be in shape the -- has to be in shape to run the plays that fast. With wide receivers they're taken up blocks where the guys are doing anything. Being just as good a shape as the office and quit crying complaining about this this is the stupidest conversation has ever been brought up by any football coach in the history of the game. The speed of the game is too fast. This is an advantage this was a strategy. This is like complaining about the amount of times and SEC team runs between the tackles it's. Stop they learn to contain and stop dean shape and be ready don't rely on officials to start slowing up the game and ruining someone else's strategy yet. -- but it clearly. Gives the advantage to the offense otherwise. Coaches like Jim Kelly wouldn't winning our organ wouldn't be on the officials. To go go go because it clearly gives in the -- -- -- -- helping us all the zebras and Syria yet so basically what you've done it you've taken something that should be. Impartial in the officials spotting the ball and you've turned the officials into an advantage for you. Over an advantage for the deep into what the officials are saying is look we're gonna try to get back. To -- happy medium between the two now whether or not they can achieve that as a whole another topic and on other segment. But I I just don't know that because it is it is clearly an advantage if you were to go on the other side of this and say. Officials odds save got a great defense and -- and Nick Saban says you know what. Officials you've got to slow it down because I've got a great defense and you go to the other extreme. People be they people wouldn't like to think you know you can't slow the game down because it benefits you it doesn't work that way. But profits because we'd like offense -- say the lunacy but yet and to the credit in most sports. Offense dictates. What the defense should do that's the very definition of it the defense is supposed to be reactionary. And that should that should be the case in in -- temple offenses. But it begs the question of -- at what what how. Split the difference for the officials because it is an advantage you're using officials as an advantage. If you hyped it and it at a faster pace -- you force them to spot the ball at a faster pace US. The argument -- -- Oliver sex in the city said officials should be able to dictate or change the -- games there official at the officials are there for players' safety -- to change. The pace of the game but I agree with that if this is a problem and I have -- when people hear stories like this come out it's like. He would react like officials -- there's going to be a game the plays over a guy gets tackled and everybody's just gonna be walking around it and officials is gonna walk over grab the ball locked isn't he entitled to do that that they want he is he's an officially into whatever -- -- he wants is no rules that say that you need you -- -- rounds up to the -- instrument there's no rule in place there and I just I don't feel like this is -- change the game I really don't want to when you have so many rules and football now. Benefiting the offense. At some point that we got to give a little help to the defense disabled get in action second busiest sea -- since -- hitting zone or pass interference is. And the same to me this is. And this really is the equal the it's it's in the same as the SEC pounding the rock if they winning a bit and Alabama win against orient. They would try to go right up the middle and pound them because they -- got the bigger guys. This is the same strategy to me Chip Kelly found something and used and used it really well. Obligates him dealing out of my holy crap and you change the game so much that you have coaches that have complained about this. And now the NCAA is trying to find ways to slow it up even if it's for three seconds. They're trying to find ways to help the defense I don't view this in the same disadvantages. A deepens and back playing wide receiver and having pass interference a linebacker hitting a quarterback. Those are different to me those -- something that's almost unfair for defense and guys I would -- this is a simple strategy and a way to execute offensively. And did trying to go against that and change to me that is there's something wrong about that I don't like. There is -- ultimately if your organs and you wanna complain about elect is and say this is gonna stop us this is gonna slows down your unfairly targeting us and trying to slowdown and a temple offense. I understand where you're coming from but you have bigger fish to fry. The fact that they could go up temple enough was not the reason they couldn't beat Stanford -- the reason they couldn't be -- was 'cause they couldn't get their offense going they could run between the tackles. And they didn't have the size and his strength to match up the same thing when they lost opera it wasn't an issue of pay. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Temple office ran as one of our UN says like the officials -- know you brought this up because now people are going to be focus on how quickly or slowly they spot the ball. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Quickly and so yes the officials are going to be under scrutiny and we'll see if they try to slow it down our spot spot in the ball or they're continuing to sprint. Our round this year I we get is an NFL news and notes as -- some college. Stories we'll update you on this Josh Josh situation and down at USC next to listening to Dan portrait of -- were served up by Buffalo Wild Wings -- -- eighty -- -- -- Linguistic and pull the handle who was. And that's what he's been trying to -- -- between the drive. Maybe some. This is listed those on Danforth and rusty by Ron Tonkin -- on ESPN's sports and you virginity. And and ignited -- fire seasons for stopping here. Happen again learn the we're not news that led by any means supporters can't tell you what people are reporting that besides yourself. Are so we report you decide our sources are confirming it give us chance if that's right. USC. Football player Josh job to hold on a saying before you talk about this story. Are we on her -- censured Josh Shaw exist just does exist -- job in weatherman. Beautiful day in neighborhoods breaks and ignored and how well we got there your job shot that you acts you like literally rescued your -- from a pool from Johnny you saved his life I'll bet you fielded. What actually happened all in their taking credit to lay it all comes back to do it chased by the top people are we doing yesterday saying -- year earnings -- and other senior and hitting it you know I hope and never let us know what happened and I'll go back if you're if that's all that -- I would take to Twitter right away and I would yeah defend myself. But teams these sports said he was named in a burglary report new teams he sport saying he was not named as a suspect in the burglary. We're told someone they were told someone called police to report suspicious person she mean down the side of a building. In downtown LA and USC campus now the tipster gave a description of the suspicious person to the police to -- this you know dance yeah she -- its -- told cops went to the building to investigate spoke to a woman who lived in the building cops gave the -- the description of suspicious person. -- that they did anyone -- that description if the woman said yeah that sounds like my boyfriend Josh shop. It just drops of the room under the bought -- sounds like -- I go to the -- come and let -- he's about 510 a 193. Pounds he's got dreadlocks I go pick him up right now I'd find a new girlfriend my. Man I wanted to see you should meet on the side of the building eleven of the described it like machine and she just some guy trying to get out the side of the building. -- he should read she beat down on her and I don't know what issue -- let's fire escape and -- here's some other stories going on right now on ESPN. Is trying to drum operating -- you get to that I just don't get this story is Josh Johnson's -- -- it confuses -- academy a look at the story now. I'd really like where did this start this all star you were huge and you were a few would you suggest -- it is conclusion not the there is just not -- all out shock kid let's see there was even so the -- -- -- -- Shimmy down ability. I -- my mind started going in eighteen different directions. I know about this that Chris Long navy had to tweet of the day he said hey yes the year he say hey ESPN it nobody cares world -- except for you. Michael -- makes the first round of cuts for the St. Louis -- Down to 75. Players -- Made the necessary news they got the league maximum said he five players -- Sam makes a first round. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- that I'm not sure a couple of things real quick before get out of here at the patriots are treated Logan Mankins to the box in her memory -- -- -- was topping the -- yesterday they decided. They -- -- trade for Logan Mankins so he's a six time pro bowler for the patriots. And it is traded him away for tight and Tim writes and a fourth round draft pick in 2015 today traded Mike. Vrabel Richard Seymour they got rid of Rodney Harrison mean -- don't care if your veteran -- you've given good service that organization. That's their MO that's how they've handled business for the last ten plus years. And look I I can be against that I'm a very big loyalty guys show some loyalty to your employees if they're giving you a lot back. New England doesn't operate like that it's next man up -- will find -- replacement we're not gonna pay him let him go we don't care. And to their credit they've been very successful in doing that weight sucks for them. But look Logan Mankins should take this is a common great put me on Tampa Bay -- to go prove my worth -- there -- get another big contract base -- people. On a crappy team its season tonight here's a little -- to write your BF -- yet you ready for this is okay in the last four weeks of the regular season last year there was only one -- and the NFL a cop more touchdown passes and Tim right and that was Jimmy Graham. Really about that -- three touchdowns and last -- -- it was also time with a -- other way tight ends with through the whole season the last four weeks he had not treatable now the -- is I just I trust the patriots too much to look at this and say what a dumb trade. I can't do that they stay the way they've run that organization now for the better part of what 1015 years there's this thing every anti mosque for nothing yeah I mean it's unbelievable the moves they make it and you read headlining UC ACC you're treating a six time pro bowler for a second you're tied at a rappers at 95% of us have never heard of -- would never seen him play. To be there they -- the activity that they know what they're doing in the figure out a way to make him you know part of that offensive runs into tide and sets just in case -- goes down you got a legit. Roger Goodell has this punishment. For violating no contact rules that govern NFL teams. Offseason practices -- we eat it seems Hillary did I mean I don't like Telecom and not a valid CR -- years old grown and I -- and our own -- hey man lift weights that's 300000 dollar now piracy you know that's against the rules out -- here as a recruiting violation in America -- NFL's also under fire Brandon meriwether is suspended for two games for the Washington Redskins got a history of hits. And allowed -- were saying well. Please in his life because you -- say enough punishment instant. The whole thing with the enemy and a well Mikey he's a crazy guy he's kind of been involved in this for two years it seems like he made the comments last year John McCain got their hand or their chest. I'm gonna go after their -- their ACL some players have had a hard time adjusting to all these new rules they had zone and that's important part is they grew up a certain way playing football. And they may be too far into their career where they really can change to still be a productive player who can earn a paycheck and make a team. Yet this is about I think for the NFL with the fans have been kind of joking about this last two weeks three got a lot of drug suspensions of people say -- -- smoke and weed is worsened this or do in this is worse than beating your wife -- -- it's in the NFL ranks that's when you know he had a series prior hands. When NFL player to sit around saying wait a minute wait a minute Ray Rice only got two games I'm into teams from one hit now we did get his suspension last year for two games that was negotiated down to one game and I. Think the same thing happened here are NFL fantasy football draft party is tomorrow what will bring -- records I'm sure you're wailed and Shimmy on down. -- -- -- -- Like -- up on the program to come tomorrow also did get a chance to talk about it today probably will tomorrow. Some potential new rules for the CBA in the NFL -- main element tomorrow that might be some I don't know how the validity of this story and that we were told about a power for ranking in the NBA that can be yes that might it be might be sliding LaMarcus Aldridge. Maybe it is and there's also a rumor about some guy got a lot of worries he is trying to like save the kid out of a pool but he didn't -- to get out of the pool we have an update on -- we'll talk to our sources will be back and better hammer follow us at the DBS show the world war diesel wood on the fire the and follow. VD ES TO is where you can find is also it's an eighty thin if you missed our Washington free you'll put up there. We will see tomorrow at noon and you've been listening to anything. Hey guys. Little big -- her right. Well -- later.
